Probate is the process that verifies the legitimacy of a Will. It can take one of two forms: “Common form,” which is used when there are no significant disputes regarding the Will's validity, or “Solemn form,” when there are allegations that the Will-maker either did not fully comprehend their Will or signed under duress or undue influence. We offer expert guidance tailored to your specific estate, helping you navigate the probate application process with precision. 

When someone passes away without a Will, it will likely require a court order to designate someone to handle their estate. We provide guidance on determining the appropriate person with the highest priority to administer the estate and assist you in obtaining the necessary authority through the application process. 

 We are here to ensure your rights are safeguarded and your concerns are effectively conveyed to Executors and Trustees.  This may include:

• Interpreting Wills and trust documents;
• Communicating with the Executor/Trustee and holding them accountable;
• Reviewing the estate’s financial records;
• Considering an Executor/Trustee’s request for compensation; and
• Ensuring your inheritance is properly distributed to you.

On a case-by-case and with the beneficiaries' support, we can act as an independent Trustee for a trust or estate.
